No no! not that kind of Chrome.......... I just loaded that new Google Web browser Chrome......... Oly Shyt! it is not bad at all.

Just a little learning curve, However it really is doing thing a bit faster like it loads BWOT much faster than MS Explorer without errors.... And it seems to have less background noise than FireFox... When I run Speed-Test it is hard to see any different between it and FireFox however it blows MS explorer out of the water. (that may only be a for now thing cause it is still new)

speed test can be found at <>

did a over 4000 mile connection test and heres my results

Salt Lake City to Limerick, Ireland

MS Explorer = Download @ 1638 kbs
Upload @ 1372 kbs

Google Chrome = Download @ 4842 kbs
Upload @ 1827 kbs

Not too bad only thing I found wrong with Chrome so far is the cut and paste feature does not work fer shit.

Once I installed ad blocker Plus on FireFox, that's all I ever surf with. All those annoying ads all over the place...gone. Very, very nice, and faster surfing.

Microsoft's wildly successful web browser (and only wildly successful, IMHO, only because it's prepackaged with their operating systems and thus forced upon unknowing consumers) is IE or Internet Explorer.

At some point I'll probably load up Chrome for a test drive, but given the holes being found even in well-established browsers, it will be a while yet. That said, more power to anyone who competes with IE. (Hmmm...maybe I'll load up Opera again, too...)

If you examine how Chrome was architected, etc., I can think of no safer or faster browser ever invented. Wish it was out on the Mac.

I downloaded it for my windows XP pro laptop. Quite fast and easy to navigate.
I do, however, do all of my computing on Ubuntu linux mint desktop pc.
and to chime in with QBNCGAR.....
we need the Linux and MAC versions real soon!

I installed it earlier today. Overall I would give it a thumbs up and in general it is much faster than IE but I have found one or two sites where it crawls.

Competition is a good thing.
