We might have to give her a break. Apparently after her early mayoral fiasco she was required to hire a city manager to actually run much of the executive responsibility of the mayoral office. Apparently she got the keys to the Ferrari and immediately ran it into a ditch.

Thanks, you made my point. Those are all capital projects. I'm not passing judgment on the desireability of any on them, but each justifies long term debt. Just like your mortgage on your house. Someday you'll be wiser from this discussion, but I'm a patient person.

And just for grins, such long term debt when left by conservatives is called a "burden". When left by Democrats, it's termed "an investment in the future" Go figure.
