Governor Palin is mostly being compared to...Obama, not Biden. So take a look at the vetting of BHO:
The Democrats chose BHO, overlooking that it's likely that his mother became pregnant with him outside wedlock, that his father was a serial polygamist with at least three, maybe four wives, that he has several half-brothers and sisters from his father and that his father was not really involved in raising him and that his father, a drinking alcoholic, kept driving drunk until he finally killed himself. The Dems also overlooked BHO's own drug abuse at the same age of 17. And BHO lets his half brother live in a mud hut in Kenya on $1 a month. Imagine what $20 a month would do--he'd be the richest man in the village. And note: if Stanley Dunham had BHO's belief in abortion and the opportunity to achieve the procedure, Barack Obama might just not have become more than a lusty thought in his father's mind.
So what do you think the vetting of Governor Palin missed?
One thing YOU missed is that Obama was VOTED into the position of Democratic Nominee, having 16Million+ voters look at his candidacy along with intense media scrutiny and opposition candidate scrutiny for 18 months. Palin was picked with ZERO vetting by the VOTERS and a three hour conversation with McCain and apparently no scrutiny. Notice the difference there.
And, as stated above, a person's parent's history is just that. It is not their history for vetting. If you want to line up Obama and Palin side by side to compare CVs you will be sorely disappointed. One humorous tidbit. Obama got more votes in his 2004 Senate election than ALL
the people living in Alaska.
