It is not a cheap shot at all. It is the very crux of the matter. Pro Life advocates are those who, by policy and philosophy advocate that life begins at conception and therefore should be protected at all costs. Most of those same folks also believe in Capital Punishment which is the "your life is not worth continuing" philosophy which is both anathema and oxymoronic in philosophy to pro life. You can't have opposing views on absolute value of life if you intend to use the political process to push views for some of your opinions. It washes all credibility.

Odd that you didn't suggest "pro-abortion" as well for the same ends.

Because folks on the left are not advocating abortion. They are advocating a woman's right to CHOOSE. Those are different things.

How did you miss the last half of that same post? You are just repeating yourself.

So you're personal philosophy is that it's alright for you, a liberal, to hold inconsistent values, but not anyone else.

Because no sane person is Pro-Abortion, though the term isn't quite as ridiculous as Anti-Life.

May I quote you to NARAL? You seem to be questioning their sanity.

Sure, go for it. I have little doubt there are a few nuts out there who become intentionally impregnated for the express purpose of exploring the joys of abortion, but you'd be hard-pressed to find anyone who wouldn't label such behavior dangerously deviant and sociopathic.

Mostly just the semantics of abortion at this point. GS and McBare have run out of facts, and that makes it boring, so I'm going to get some sleep.
