Sorry Keyhole,I just had another bad day, new job and new company means nothing works OK. When I give parts for a W220 S350 to guys who are SUPPOSED to be MB Techs and they fit the bushngs upside down

But to make it worse the workshop manager assured me that the Porsche wheel alignment equipment could do MB, so I drive it accross town to be aligned and the car does not fit on the lift

So at 4.30 in the afternoon I was stuck in the Porsche workshop aligning the care by hand with a piece of STRING. My wife, who is the office manageress on the Benz side, kept calling me and giving me shit because the customer was waiting for the car.

All this on a Sunday, when it's supposed to be my day off

ERIC.

OK, mate - no offence taken....

I agree with you. With a new job it's tricky to work out just who you can always trust, who you can never trust, and who is just waiting to stab you in the back...

I suppose in one way you can think yourself lucky. In Mao's time the working week was 7 days.

cheers.

It means you're letting the small stuff bother you, ermmmm, a lot. That's a sign of burnout. You need a vacation; preferably a lengthy one. Or another vocation. Change of scenery. Something.

Thanks Q, but I must get this place working the right way. I have not had a real holiday/vacation in the last 14 years so maybe I should think about that and thanks for the advice
