Sly, I'm betting there will be an astounding number of ex Hillaryites who will fall for his move.

Not so sure about your patch of the planet, but the women I know are far smarter than that.

Did it occur to you that BO targeted a particular demographic with his pick as well?

A local news station here in San Diego did on street interviews and some A-hole said he liked the McCain's pick so now he is sure he will vote for McCain. This city is Red in Blue clothing. Another lady said she was in between but now she will look more to McCain because this is history. Even though it was just two random people I feel people will be so blinded by the Hillary Obama riff and McCain thinks will further fuel the fire. If it does end up working, this will further divide the party, but if it back fires, which I truly think it will, it will strengthen the Democratic cause by leaps and bounds.

I am not a women, but was still offended that the Republican party would stoop this low. But with a couple of months left I should expect nothing less. It resembles half the crap Jayhawk post so its fitting I guess.

No, just people who do nothing for a living and get well paid for it. Oh, maybe that's the same group.

Her appointment gave them one more reason to vote for McCain. They may have sipped the Obama poison, or stayed home, even. But, this will give them a shove.

Also, Palin's inexperience is still more experience than Obama's. I'd say 146 days as a senator isn't much experience compared to 2 years in the governor's office.
You seem to be forgetting the Illinois Senate part. And remember, 147 days ago, Palin was the mayor of a town of 7000. Biggest problems she had to deal with was moose shit and getting the streets plowed.
