So theres obviously nobody who can provide a response to my questions/statements. What's the matter, you all seem to have such conviction in your shared vision of the evil Bush administration, and your conviction in the proposed socialist state that will result in an Obama election in November.

Not to mention you'll grant the most important position in the free world to someone whose only experience is being a community organizer, a corrupt state senator(not to mention an avid supporter of infanticide), and a freshman Senator whose most impressive accomplishment was the number of times he voted "present".

Have any of you considered how the government is going to provide people with socialized healthcare. Can you even begin to comprehend how many billions of dollars it is going to cost? Where do you think that money is going to come from? What do you think is going to happen to the quality of treatment that we have been receiving in this country. Am I the only one left who thinks that you deserve only what you work to achieve?

Why is the democratic party so willing to sabotage the economy by thinking that they have the right to expand government to control large corporations and tell them how much they should be able to profit?

How in the hell is Obama going to provide so much for the middle class by raising taxes, and increasing the cost for the corporations that employ the working class? If the corporations have higher costs, they are going to lower their wages. Are you people completely inept? Do you really think that we need more government to solve all of our problems?

God forbid we should hold ourselves(the individuals) accountable and actually work towards EARNING the American dream, we should just elect someone who will give it to us!!!
You've waded into the deep end of the pool here, son. You might want to learn a bit more about civics and what the President actually does, before going off half-cocked like this.

That said, in answer to your first question (bolded above), the policy decisions with which most here take issue begin with the invasion of Iraq - a major but still solitary facet of a larger, disastrous foreign policy which may well end with Russia re-programming their nuclear arsenal with the GPS coordinates of cities like yours and mine.

Now then, once you have had a couple of pills to calm down the hysteria you no doubt caught from Planet Rushbo, think seriously about what it is a President can actually do by himself. Say it out loud, it's really quite cathartic.

...

Okay, here, I'll help you.

The President, can sign bills into law (and those start with Congress, by the way), and as Commander in Chief, he can control the military. That's the 100,000 foot view, granted.

If you're worried about the economy, then no doubt the trillions of dollars we've wasted hunting down OBL (if you believe that he's in Iraq, by the way, you're a fool), are of great concern to you.

McCain doesn't want our troops going anywhere. Obama wants them home. Simple enough.

Beyond that, tell me, what damage do you see Obama/Biden or even Hillary doing, all on their own, without the assistance of a willing congress?

...

Let me help you some more...why not tell us which congressmen you voted for most recently?

Im certainly not your son, and thanks for welcoming me to the deep end of the pool. I would like nothing more than to stand on your head until the bubbles stop rising to the surface.

And as for the invasion of Iraq, it was an important decision, for not only attempting to ensure the safety of American citizens, but to liberate the Iraqi people from a violent, oppressive, totalitarian state. Too bad if pussy ass leftist whiners like you thought that it cost too much money and was bad foreign policy.

I never believed that the president did anything by himself, my point was that all you people who say that McCain would be another four years of Bush(my point to a "T" was that Bush didn't do anything on his own). Bright boy.

And, as for OBL, why don't you express your own thoughts instead of trying to pretend like you know mine. I have been to Afghanistan, I have never believed that he is in Iraq, he is most likely in Pakistan.

And the congress, if you haven't noticed, is more than willing to help Obama destroy what America once was, by socializing healthcare, and creating things like the "Fairness" Doctrine. Political correctness is now our number one policy, and it also happens to be Obamas foreign policy.

Guys,

When it comes to amnesty, I certainly disagree with John McCain. However, my rash behavior stems from my inability to comprehend how any of you could even consider Barack Obama as being someone who is A.)Qualified to run the country, and B.)Someone with the kind of judgement and character to be trusted with such important things as national security and the economy.

I think that basically, he has amassed his support (especially from the genius who criticized my post) for no reason other than he wants to pull the troops out of Iraq within x amount of days. His other beliefs, such as healthcare, and raising taxes, and political correctness, and redistribution of wealth, is SOCIALISM. This country was not founded on socialism, he should go run to be the new emperor of the European Union. He is not a good choice for the presidency, and I am 100% certain that we(the voters) have no earthly idea who he really(truly) is, and what plans he has if he was elected into office.

He scares me, and I am not the only one. All you libs out there that are mesmerized by him and his wife are truly deranged.

Well, he's certainly not the small-government, morally certain, no-nation-building, fiscally conservative, diplomatic intellectual we have now. The 'Right Stuff' only comes along every so often, you know. Sometimes you just have to make do.

Sheesh, you talk about Socialism like it's a bad thing. The US military is the largest cradle-to-grave socialist regime in this hemisphere, and they seem to be doing quite well for themselves...goddamned commies
