My son checked on the location of his investment properties, and it turns out they are all located on or near the Naval Base in San Diego--two on-base and two condos connected to the Coronado Hotel. I'll bet most if not all of them are associated w/ his days in the Navy.

Another hypothetical excuse McCain could have used, but didn't. He just plain can't remember anything specific that has happened in the last decade. This will get interesting once the rabid media shitheads who ask an athlete who tripped over the ninth hurdle and lost what was surely a gold medal at the Olympics how they feel, and then sneak up on them and show them breaking apart in an area they thought was private... Yeah, I can't wait for the media to ask him what he ate for breakfast when the plate is still on the table in front of him and he tells them to ask his staff....

And, Jaybaugh,

More empty bullshit! That makes his case of Alzheimer's appear to be further along... he can't remember things from several decades ago to the present.

So, Jaybaugh, you look pitiful offering this cheesy bullshit up to excuse or hide the fact your team has selected another near vegetable to run the country.

Take a hint, and

It is really beginning to look like McCain is not the same sharp candidate he was in 2000. Looks more like Reagan in 2004 complete with all the little "gaps".
Come on bear, quit sounding like another loony leftwing nutjob and at least try to make sense. Given the complexities of multiple property ownership and management, property buying, selling and trading, etc. he may very well not have known how to answer a simple-minded question like that. I mean it's not like owning a house and a garage (sort of). This is real world stuff, and the rabid drive-by media are just waiting for a misstatement of any kind. AND YOU KNOW IT!

This house thing should DQ McCane as a candidate.

In fact he should probably be led off to the loony bin to have his feathers preened.
