The Dork Meter is available on a first come first serve basis. There is a three month limit before it must be sent along to the next person on the list. The next open slot on the list is after Winter, 2012. That's when Bot will be finished using it in conjunction with any and all Global Climate Change threads that might be running at the time.

The BWOT Dork Meter is a highly accurate instrument capable of measuring dorkiness but is not infallible. Best results may be obtained when a three month median average is used which is why the requesting user must maintain the unit for one full season (Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter).

In the event circumstances cause a scheduled user to cancel his or her reservation, that person must wait until the first season AFTER the next available slot. For example, since MBLR has canceled his session, he must wait until Summer, 2012 (the first season after Spring 2012) to schedule another session.

Due to the sensitivity of the Dork Meter, the damage caused in this thread means it will now need to be returned to the manufacturer for the Fall season for a complete overhaul and retuning. Don't even think about breaking in line and asking for it during this critical maintenance period.

We have rules here, people.

Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?
