Finally drove a current generation Prius today...wow, what were they thinking? The car is full--I repeat, full of blind spots; forward, sideways and to the rear. The FN shifter has a separate Park button and it beeps at you inside the car when shifted into reverse--just like the big trucks do externally!!! Does it for the entire duration that you're in that gear. The climate control and audio stuff is menu driven. The first Gen cars are far far worse, but this one brings a whole host of new annoyances to the game. I must state though, that it's remarkably quiet at freeway speeds. I had to participate in a 2 hour teleconference call while traveling up north with my new Jawbone bluetooth.
Once there, I attended a meeting where my city councilman buddy drove his immaculate '95 Cab w/extremely low original miles. He won a MB car show recently in his class.
I still hate Prius
