You could ask the same question of the libertarians around here. Hell, ask the capitalists while yer at it...
But it's not them I'm asking Z, do you have a nation you can use as an example that does adhered to socialist theories and practices that works ?.
My time in the south pacific was a good exposure to tribal societies, my observation of them was the biggest fucker with the maddest baddest attitude was in charge, hey sounds like Stalin, you maybe right.

No, as I've already indicated, I don't know of a socialist country. It seems like some Social Democracies do a pretty decent job of maintaining a solid quality of life, and realistically, they're probably the best we can do while we're at our current state of social evolution--I'm a realist. I suspect most pragmatic libertarians realize a purely libertarian society will never exist, as well. I don't see much value in political or philosophic dogmatism.

Never is a long time. But it will not exist in my lifetime, I am sure. Would like a little progress towards it, though.

Yeah, that's my view as well. I'm a socialist, but I'm not angry about it -- M. Huckabee

Bot

The biggest problems we are facing right now have to do with George Bush trying to bring more and more power into the executive branch and not go through Congress at all and thatís what I intend to reverse.

National Socialists, for example?
