Per request, here is the latest on the garage. We are down to laying of pebbles [and boy is she tired].

The fieldstone [all 9 tons of it were moved into place by Susan and me. Jeez she can move rock. Several years at UPS is good training. [Next year you will be seeing many posts from me on the road as she starts her LPGA career].

The pebbles arrived today for the final bit. For the MAIN driveway, we decided on blacktop/macadam/asphalt as it requires much less impact and won't be as rough on my trees as concrete.

By next Monday the job will be complete as the driveway will finally get laid tomorrow and Friday. The rest has been done for the past 30 days or so but this last part took longer than expected as I had to travel twice and getting loads delivered was more hassle than it should have been.

Those "pebbles" look mighty rough! Does your beautiful bride know you're planning to lay driveway? Tell her to call me if she needs counseling...

Don't believe everything you think
