How does that siding on the garage come in to play with matching anything from a existing structure?

The brick matches the current house and the siding matches the trim on the house. I had no desire to build a 20 foot tall full brick box. It would not have looked correct in the neighborhood environment. This matches with the brick/siding architecture that is pretty standard for the neighborhood.

Our house is one of the very few full brick houses around and only looks correct due to its length. You have to go to the McMansion villages to get two/three story brick and that is not proportional to the garage.

Day 32

So I forgot to take a picture of the front where all the clutter was cleaned. What we see is the nice copper wire for the meter box for the meth heads to come and steal and waiting on the stone/brick mason [this weekend???].

Second pic is of the interior, looking toward the workbench corner [garage door is to photo left]. The lights are 9 150w CFLs. Those buggers put out some light.

Once juice is hooked up [Tuesday] and the inspector wanders by, wallboard will go up and we will be done.

I have a friend who is building a house in the country and putting in 4000 sqft steel barn that will house bodyshop and full hightech spray booth. So I will prep at home and trailer to his place 12 miles away. He is old school with lead and does magic with a torch. And looks like he is about 18 but has been in the biz for 15 years and has two National show car winners.

Hopefully both 500Es will be complete by October. That is the plan.

This is Luke. When I met him eight years ago he looked 12 and was the only person the Mercedes dealer would let work on any of the newer AMG cars.

Every time I paint, I have to go throught the powerwash, dehumidifier ritual and with a spoiler that is 4" from the pavement, it's quite often. I'd kill for a paint booth.
