And Dr. Roy Spencer just released climate data from NASA satellite sources that shows the Earth's average global temperature actually cooled for the last 2 years, in spite of record CO2 emissions. How about that, kiddies?

Naw, it's bushie's fault that HE wasn't concerned for the first 7 years of his presidency.

Had to do with those exxon boys in the VPs office rewriting EPA and NASA reports to remove annoying science stuff that impacted their industry.

So you have links?

Is it part of his Intelligent Design Series or his I Hate Al Gore Series?

Spencer is an interesting guy. He as some very good research but when you get to his conclusions he tends to mix beliefs with science and some of his research seems to look like it is a conclusion looking for data.

Links please.

What in this world do you think Global Warming/Climate Change scientists have done the last 10 years? They have had a conclusion looking for data. You seem to think they're finding plenty of it. I'm more of the opinion that you're willing to embrace any 'evidence' that tries, convicts and sentences corporate America to death. It is the gullibility of you global warming/climate change believers I have so often pointed out. One peon scientist from out of no where can throw out a piece of 'evidence' like 'red meat' to hungry wolves and it's gobbled up. BUT, Dr. Spencer presents dozens of pieces of THOROUGH evidence and you seek to discredit him and his 'evidence', all because he presents an opposing view to what you think is going on. Forget his credentials. Throw him to the dogs because he dares to say anything against the mainstream scientific establishment. THERE IS NO WHERE NEAR ENOUGH DATA TO PROVE, WITH ANY CERTAINTY, THAT WE SHOULD BE CONCERNED ABOUT GLOBAL CLIMATE CHANGE.

As far as the intelligent design theory, when you and other scientists master the art of building a simple blade of grass from NOTHING, create a single cell organism from NOTHING, then I might listen to your ramblings that all this earth, in all it's glory, just 'happened' when some big explosion took place throwing all chaos into order. What kind of faith does it take to believe that?

I'll try the graph once more:

One time a thousand years in the future, God and a scientist were talking and the scientist said, "Dude, after these past few centuries I have reached the point where I can make any life form you can make."

God said, "Oh really?"

Scientists said, "Oh hell yeah. I'll show you. Make something and I'll do it, too."

So God makes his wind-up and, Poof! A flower appears.

Scientist said, "Cute, I thought you'd do something complex. Well let me see, first I need some dirt ..."

God says, "Whoa dude, make your own dirt."

The biggest problems we are facing right now have to do with George Bush trying to bring more and more power into the executive branch and not go through Congress at all and that’s what I intend to reverse.

Let's see, dozens of pieces of sampling vs thousands. Cool.

And in bold, There is "NO WHERE NEAR ENOUGH..." So where do YOU define the threshold for when there is enough to draw an expert conclusion?

And science vs a book of fables and um, well faith. WOW.

I think I see the problem.

Mcbear, man is hardwired to believe in something, whether it is a higher power, an omnipotent force or the power of nature. What you don't realize, is that it takes much more faith to believe what you readily state you believe in. That is, absence of an omnipotent power in favor of order being made out of chaos. You believe that a natural force caused the creation of the universe, but you have no data to back it up because no scientist has ever been able to duplicate this force. I and others believe that more is at play than that. That's all fine if that's what you believe. But, you are doing the exact same thing you accuse me and Dr. Spencer of, and that is basing a belief structure on a theory you can't back up.

As for the thousands of scientist thing: Thousands of scientists have spent 80 years and TRILLIONS of dollars researching cancer, but have, supposedly, found no cure. One or two doctors can cure it and they are run out of the country. The same with Global Warming/Climate Change: The reason there are not thousands of scientists climbing on board with guys like Dr. Spencer is because Dr. Spencer is ostracized by the scientific community, treated like a leper, because he dares to break from the ranks and presnt REAL evidence that is ignored by your scientists. Since these 'thousands' of scientists you so readily put your faith in DEPEND on research dollars by being advocates of this 'THEORY', they are not about to jeopardize their reputations and their funding by pursuing a position that isn't 'helpful' to the mainstream scientific community. So, it's the snowball effect. Bullshit begets bullshit and negativity begets negativity and in the end, you'll have this big, giant dungball of scientific stupidity that I guarantee you will be laughed at, 50 or so years from now.

Ho-hum. I'll try the graph, yet again:

At one time every scientist worthy of the term believed in phlogiston. Many developed methods of measuring phlogiston and published papers on it.

Spontaneous Human Combustion
Poof, there goes another one
A raging fire, a funeral pyre
An unexpected cremation

They were kissing in a crowded mall
when they burst right into flames.
Charcoal bricquets in thirty seconds
Their last words -- each other's names
Did they have a deep seated problem?
Was this their farewell?
Did they cause themselves to ignite
Leaving that awful smell?

Spontaneous Human Combustion
Poof, there goes another one
A raging fire, a funeral pyre
An unexpected cremation

She was walking on Rodeo Drive
She exploded with a flash
The police had no explanation
Their only clue -- a pile of ash
Did her Visa card reach its limit
on that shopping spree?
Did she blow her top when she read
"Buy one -- get one free"?

Spontaneous Human Combustion
Poof, there goes another one
A raging fire, a funeral pyre
An unexpected cremation

Is it passion, is it heartburn?
Is it the wrath of god?
Maybe it's friction in the bloodstream
starts a fire in your bod?
Is it caused by stress or frustration?
Or by what you eat?
Never snack on cabbage and wasabe,
you'll get smoking feet

Spontaneous Human Combustion
Poof, there goes another one
A raging fire, a funeral pyre
An unexpected cremation
