Go to a doctor and gets lots and lots of pain meds.

Oh and do something to help your back too. Muscle relaxers speed healing time.

The pain seems to subside with a simple walk however I find this difficult to do while barreling down the highway at 75 mph, although I've tried.

note to self: check alignment.

Start exercising, especially stomach and abs. Really. Strengthen your back and belly and the blues will go away. Save the pills for driving.

Age and lifestyle is causing your vertebral column to compress and increase pressure on your discs, especially in the lumbar region. Try to find a method to create some traction on your spine and as others have suggested, save the pills for when you are feeling better.

You need a little inversion therapy.

Yup, aging and a sedentary lifestyle (or vocation) are a poor combination.

Want me to walk on it for you? I don't weigh too much, back doen under 100 lbs. But I dont think I could do it at 75 mph.

I'm not bad. I'm just drawn that way.
