I applaud those birds for their ability to see different things in different places from the same vantage point. It gives them perspective on the world that my grandmother and pastor never had. I could no more deprive that bird of one of it's heads then I could repudiate my pastor or condemn my own grandmother for her racist past.

Audaciously,

Barak Hussein Obama

The biggest problems we are facing right now have to do with George Bush trying to bring more and more power into the executive branch and not go through Congress at all and thatís what I intend to reverse.

A physicist, biologist and a chemist were going to the ocean for the first time.
The physicist saw the ocean and was fascinated by the waves. He said he wanted to do some research on the fluid dynamics of the waves and walked into the ocean. Obviously, he was drowned and never returned.
The biologist said he wanted to do research on the flora and fauna inside the ocean and walked inside the ocean. He too, never returned.
Later, the chemist was asked what he learned from the experience. "Physicists and the biologists are soluble in ocean water", he said.

Recall that earlier generations faced down fascism and communism not just with missiles and tanks, but with sturdy alliances and enduring convictions. They understood that our power alone cannot protect us, nor does it entitle us to do as we please. Instead, they knew that our power grows through its prudent use; our security emanates from the justness of our cause, the force of our example, the tempering qualities of humility and restraint.

-President Barack Obama, 1st Inaugural address

We need tax breaks for homeowners willing to risk living by the sea.

A Republican

Scientific studies indicate that we need to regulate use of the sea.

Actually, recent scientific studies indicate that all Republicans should be encouraged to live as close to the sea as possible.
