The blood on the hands of the liberal idiots here is claiming that taking out Saddam is a bad thing.

I remember when we liberated Fallujah, People poured out into the streets and collected around the well in the center of town. So many people were missing that there must be a secret police station somewhere. It's a flat desert plain so the only place it could be is down the well. These were desperate people grasping at any hope of finding their loved ones again. Well we found them in a mass grave out back of the police station.

In every police station we went into there were torture chambers. Saddam's Baath party police even tortured children!! I will give Saddam one thing he invented a new form of torture. He had people chained into the bottom of a large bath tube and poured chemicals on them and let them soak in it.

When the Iraqi soccer team didn't win the world cup Saddam's son used an electric drill and drilled holes into the knees of the captain of the team. And we knew about this way before the war.

All you liberals that think that you have no blood on your hands this blood is on your hands for doing nothing and still supporting doing nothing about it. This is your guilt. People were being tortured and you did nothing to stop it. And you still argue to this day that it was wrong to stop it. This is blood on your hands!!!

No clue. But since WE and the UN and the rest of the world both knew about it and had it in check, I have to assume there was no worry. Otherwise there would have been a mad rush to take it somewhere between 1991 and 2003 [actually 2008 since we kept it near those AQ terrorists camps for five whole years]. Must have been wicked stuff to secure it that tight.

Yes, Saddam did bad things to his people. That was no reason to INVADE his sovereign country. If you want to use that standard, we need to line up and head out to Sudan where over a Million have been killed in the past decade, or maybe China, or North Korea. Or since we are using historical reference, and not just events of NOW, just how far do you want to go back to consider invading a country to take out a leader for his crimes against his people. Burma/Myanmar is systematically killing their folks RIGHT NOW, much like in Darfur in the Sudan.

So, do we go into the Sudan and Myanmar NOW. Same rational as you are using for Iraq.

What about Tibet? The Chinese have been killing those in Tibet for decades. Do we go in and kick China's ass for it?

What about Kashmir? Genocide is occurring there NOW. Same argument.

If you want to wander into the past just a bit, we have Japan and Germany, both who killed millions and go back just 150 years and the United States was doing the same thing with the American Indians. Should we invade...

It is not our place to invade countries just because their leaders are dicks. Nice as it would be to save people, it is not our job. Period.

The biggest problems we are facing right now have to do with George Bush trying to bring more and more power into the executive branch and not go through Congress at all and that’s what I intend to reverse.

The existence of this stuff was well known. We can only thank our lucky stars that it was not looted after the botched US invasion of Iraq, which is what happened to numerous tons of high explosives that were used to kill our own troops.

Recall that earlier generations faced down fascism and communism not just with missiles and tanks, but with sturdy alliances and enduring convictions. They understood that our power alone cannot protect us, nor does it entitle us to do as we please. Instead, they knew that our power grows through its prudent use; our security emanates from the justness of our cause, the force of our example, the tempering qualities of humility and restraint.

Because your fucking Fuerher lied about it.

So you are saying American boys and girls should die for Iraq? I could give a fuck whose knees got drilled, if the people of that country were not willing to die to change things, fuck them. If you want to save them, you should have gone to Iraq on your own dime instead of mine.

I have this quaint notion that the US Constitution says that the US Armed Forces are for the defense of this nation, not for some feel-good Utopian mission carried out by a bunch of incompetent dreamers, and that if citizens of a country do not like their government it is their responsibility to fight and die to change it, not the responsibility of some Bushite Nanny State that takes guys like you for total suckers so they can do the same fucking thing to the Iraqis that Saddam did. We have killed over 800,000 of them, making Saddam look like the good guy. Pictures of Civilian Victims of the Anglo-American Aggression in Iraq (March, 2003 onwards)

We have no moral superiority over Saddam, we attacked an essentially defenseless nation in a manner no different than Hitler's invasion of Poland, using crusie missiles on civilian populations, indescrimately killiing women and children in the name of some false WMD scam. Our occcupation, until the ascent of Petraeus was full of indescriminate murder and machine gunning of crowds. What the fuck makes us any better than Saddam?

It sounds callous, but those people have as much responsibilities to en better their own lives as anyone else on this planet. They don't like the government? Topple it themselves. There are many examples in history books to learn from. Looking for a hand out from other nations? Well, they deserve what was in store for them.

Remember.......Human Rights is an invention of our politicians. The rest of the world don't give a flying fuck about HR. They do what they have to do to maintain laws and orders. Don't go sticking your nose into other country's affairs.

This is old news, so what do you want? A medal to bring it up again? Apparently you don't understand the geo-political dynamics outside of your comfort zone.

I don't fucking want to baby sit the rest of the world. Nor would I care to spend a fucking penny saving those who don't want to save themselves. Guess you served? Good for you. You stupid enough to volunteer as a sheep to go fulfill a politician's wet dream, good for you too. You live with your conscious and I live with mine.

Fuck you and the likes of you.
