Jay, you might want to make the recovery disks. If the HDD goes down, that nice recovery partition will NOT be available. It will only be available if the OS corrupts and needs recovered.

And as GS said, get Ghost. It burns all your settings, ini type files and everything should you need to drop a new hard drive in and just see the same stuff when done with the recovery.
