Yea, a place with no rhyme or reason does exist.

I'm not bad. I'm just drawn that way.

drive by Mt. Kisco in a pickup truck or an Econovan in the morning and pick up a few of the healthy and sober looking local residents.

heh heh why several things come to mind on this first if you want to "clear" the deck just bring out the high pressure washer and tell em all that your going to shove that high pressure hose up where the light don't shine if they don't clear the deck...............

Oh sorryeee not what you meant? well here try this then.... First one get down on your knees bitch......... Scrub!

Second one..... my friend uses this.... I don't use anything cause when I got the house the deck was grey and know what? it still is grey.

Smart Nozzle Deck & Patio Brush

An easy, efficient way to handle outdoor cleaning projects.

Cleaning your deck and patio surfaces will be a lot easier when you’re using this innovative brush. Just connect the SmartNozzle (included) to your garden hose, and spray away dirt and debris. Then attach the flow-through brush to scrub heavily-soiled areas clean. Use the built-in squeegee head to remove excess water. Textured grip, angled handle and adjustable assist handle. The 48" telescoping pole is made from rust-proof aluminum.

Well actually actually
Architects do
(Ok I will amend that to Ballymoney architects)
use big headed nails to nail down decking / flooring
Cos when we was in with a local "avent garde" in his posh new offices with the oak plank flooring, there they were sticking out both literally and metaphorically.
I did not like to mention it to him.
I do not think he will get our business
M
PS
To add
No a pressure washer should not damage your decking assuming
(i) it is not constructed from Balsa wood
(ii) it is still sound
(iii) American presurre washer do not put up 10,000psi, 2 or 3 thou should suffice.
We pressure wash summer seats and picnic tables without harm

you are correct. don't listen to the idiots on this site, they will have you fucking up your deck.

Use Murphy's oil soap and a old-fashioned mop to clean the wood. then apply a few coats of Thompson's Water Seal to protect it. re-apply the water seal every year for long-lasting protection.

Most 'real' pressure washers come with multiple spray tips. Entertain some wood brightener if it is dull in color, but follow the instructions.
