Fish make great escape

Its rainy season again here and i was down at a friends workshop this afternoon when the skies opened and down it came. I waited four hours for it to bait a little but to no avail. So i decided to brave it and head off home.

The water was already up to my knees, so i started the 10 min jouney home when this huge fish swam passed me repidly followed by more I am in the middle of a huge city so where did the fish come from?

I turned around and nearly died laughing, the owner of a restaurant and his staff were trying to reduce the level of the fish tanks and catch all the escaping fish, prawns, crabs (the lobsters were a tad slow). But the staff were no match for the slimey eels and the snakes were make a good job of it too

Further down the road and loads of stranded car owners were fishing with their hands lol Managed to bag an umberella full of king prawns myself.

So i got home with the booty and the wife said how much did you pay for that lot, to which i replied, i found them on the street.

ERIC.

I think there's an old saying:
When it rains in China make scampi Diavolo. I think.
