I actually think Peter Frampton is an under-appreciated artist. He was great with Humble Pie, and his first two solo efforts were superb. To this day, Frampton's Camel would make my all-time list. I have two problems with the live album. First, he wasn't that great of a live performer -- he made a lot of mistakes and wanted desperately to be a better guitarist than he was -- the studio was far more forgiving. Second, that live album was the beginning of the end for him. It was so popular, he lost his mind, started hangin' out with the Bee Gees, and went all commercial on us. He never did regain his form.
The rest of the list is a fine testimonial to some great classic rock.
Substitutions (don't mean to be critical, just my opinion):
The Allman Brothers at Fillmore East over Eat a Peach
The Wild, the Innocent & the E Street Shuffle over Born to Run
Pretzel Logic or Katy Lied over Aja
Desperado over Hotel California
