Great to see you are on the mend. I can concur, there is nothing like a BM when the system isn't moving. While in Houston working with some guys at a customer's facility running tests, the shop shitter was about the most disgusting place I have ever taken a leak. Overflowing toilets, no AC, 95 degrees F and 99 percent humidity, so it was hot, heavy with infectious diseases on all surfaces and in the air, and the shitters were sitting in pools of festering fecal matter. Somebody was taking a massive shit in the place and plugging the toilets every day, and the rest of the guys were just dropping and running leading to the overflows and immune system trauma for anyone going in afterwards. No way would I take a shit there.
Well, two days later (I can get a little off schedule flying and working 18 hour days) and I was going on three full days and no shitting. Got to the plant, started testing and suddenly, the bowels gave the signal they were done with their sit-in protest of my lifestyle. And the signal overwhelmed my desire never to shit in the gross shitter. I was going for the nearest one and the sense of urgency overwhelmed all other senses.
All's well that ends well. That dump even cleared my sinuses up.
QBNCGR, I missed any description of your situation before this thread and didn't realize you were heading to an operation. It was just a few weeks ago and you were at the races with your son. Well, here's hoping you recover quickly and get back to living your life. Jim
