Walk through the metal detector before you leave to make sure those inept bastards didn't leave any hardware in there.

There was a story a while back about a guy who had surgery and they left a forceps in his gut. He said he understood that mistakes happen and wouldn't sue and that they should just remove it. They did, and then they billed him. He sued.

No doubt....I also had a buddy who told me the pleasant story of the friend who went under a general, but was given the "immobilizer" before he was asleep...heard and felt everything, but couldn't so much as twitch.

No such issues for me, thankfully. Half a dozen people said this surgeon was the cat's PJ's, and so far as I know, he was.

Took a full hour of trying, but I finally peed a little. In the shower, just like old times.

If this is what it's like to get old, I wish they'd have just killed me earlier.
