OK then, tell me how a PC equipped with 8G is ram is the perfect vessel for XP.
64-bit XP CAN manage up to 128GB of RAM. But I don't know anyone who is running 64-bit XP and 8 or more Gig of RAM except on some servers.
Then you can tell me how a PC that cannot manage more than 1G of ram is the ideal vessel for Vista.
PC that cannot manage more than 1 Gb of RAM is a very poor choice for XP as well. XP will run, but run miserably.
On the other hand, XP will FLY in 2GB of RAM PC. Last time I checked it was quite enough for Vista requirements too. By comparing performance of XP and Vista on the 2GB RAM machine with all other things being equal one can get a pretty good idea.
Now, since we are done with technical questions, let's go to our other issues.
BTW, I suggested that the comparison was idiotic, you responded with an unprovoked personal attack and name-calling. If that and petty bickering are all you've got, maybe you should give it a rest, expert.
OK, you call someone's actions idiotic, he responds with the advice not to look too far for the idiot. You are an angel, your respondent is using dirty tactics.
GS, don't you feel you are using some kind of double standard?
We have known each other for quite a while on this board. Nothing like this had happened before.
I am under impression it is not you but someone else who uses your handle and types in.
