Good Luck! If you think you had it bad before, you have to ask the people working at Mercedes Benz Beverly Hills Ltd.. The turnover rate is really bad for the past 6 years they had more than 4 service managers. Don't even ask about the service advisors, there is always a few new faces everytime I go there.

I dont want to start my own shop, i was in business once and went bankrupt. Once bitten twice shy. The job i do is by nature a limited term with any company.

In China ive worked with 11 companies, three went under and the rest are making good profits today. But it pisses me off when you make profits for them and then they say they dont need you anymore.

Still, i should be thick skinned enough by now. But it still hurts when you give a company all your time and heart/experience and once they are profitable they say bye bye

ERIC.

Well Eric, I helped a few companies make a lot of money and they thought they were doing me a favor by employing me, so when I realized that they were users, I started my own business and the wife and me has been in business for 19 years. And to this day not 1 of of the other places I worked for are still in business.

this is the biggest folly of all employees..remember in business there is no friendship, relation or emotions. You should only give them as much as you think the pay is worth. And always do some business on the side..business survives, employment doesn't.

Thanks for that. Met the potential new boss today and discussed the money, apparantly my name preceeds me and he only wanted to talk money and thats what we did. Will know the results on Wednesday.

The plot thickens, my old boss has been to see my Potential bosses new company and shown some interest. Today my wife recieved a phone call from one of my old bosses relatives and he has apparrantly give his general manager shit and said he wants me back. Now I AM CONFUSSED

As long as that asshole of a GM is there I dont want to go back.

ERIC.

Thanks for all your replies ladies and gents, I got the job, they are preparing the contract now, i will be working agiain in two weeks when the shop opens

Now the old boss is really pissed off, but he does not know the worst of the damage his GM has done. I just spent the day in the labour department and they tell me for an Expat to work saturday or sunday its double time.

Ive just spent two years working saturdays at single pay. They are going to go after him for RMB 33,000 plus and they want an extra months pay for my wife.

Also the GM forced me to sign a letter of resignation by refusing to pay me if i did not. I can take civil action against him for that, and ask that he pay me two years money and boy am i going to do it. I will make him suffer after the boss makes him suffer

This may sound like a revenge trip, because it IS. I gave them what they wanted (a profitable company) and in return i only expected job security.

Thanks for listening to my rants, you are good people

ERIC.
