Leather shoes, belts , seats.. what do you think they do with the pig , cow hide
after using the meat for food ?
I was just asking to get an understanding where your threshold was. I understand you like and care for animals and don't like to see them suffer. I most likely am at least as passionate and have had the police discussions to prove it.

But if you eat meat, chicken, fish, leather shoes, belts and have leather seats in your benz, some animal got juiced so you could enjoy it. Whether it was fur or leather or filet. And, unlike horses who live in multi million dollar barns with air conditioning and vets and trainers and handlers, those cows and pigs and chickens are stuffed in very tight quarters.

Now, that said, we are, as humans carnivores and considering my dad was a butcher for 40 years, I am obviously not a vegan or vegetarian. But I do understand the process. And it is no different for cows or those little fur bearers.

McBear,
Kentucky

Being smart is knowing the difference, in a sticky situation between a well delivered anecdote and a well delivered antidote - bear.
