The American Economy is on the edge collapse. Iraq is endless. Even if we make it through one or the other, the roller coaster ride is starting to totally freak out the entire country. McCain is too old to realize he is yesterday's news, the public is about to deal itself a new hand from fresh deck.

Recall that earlier generations faced down fascism and communism not just with missiles and tanks, but with sturdy alliances and enduring convictions. They understood that our power alone cannot protect us, nor does it entitle us to do as we please. Instead, they knew that our power grows through its prudent use; our security emanates from the justness of our cause, the force of our example, the tempering qualities of humility and restraint.

-President Barack Obama, 1st Inaugural address

McCain is not nearly the same man he was in 2000. I recall him being very open, honest, charming, and quick-witted, even reminded me of Reagan somewhat back then. I don't see that guy anymore. He now seems somber and in over his head at times. Whether it's age or the crushing weight of the position he is seeking is difficult to tell...

Nah, he just learned the real truth after his AIPAC visit. Let's hope he still has enthusiasm for the task
