Agreed.

Still I think we are much better off with a few trils of debt instead of the constant threat of being annihilated by the Soviets, yes?

Oh, and he ordered TV for his cell not long before 9/11.

God Bless America. Dirty killer orders TV for his cell. And serves his term in sunny California instead of Siberia or something.
From those I have talked to who have spent time in prison, any long time is hard time, no matter where. The mental load is the hard part.

And he as about as much chance at parole as Manson.

Hmmm, what a wonderful confluence of opportunity that would offer!

The biggest problems we are facing right now have to do with George Bush trying to bring more and more power into the executive branch and not go through Congress at all and that’s what I intend to reverse.

We could have been smarter in how we charged the expenses so there was not a recession, high unemployment AND $3Trillion of debt.

But in the long run it was a better use of credit than the current $5Trillion DEBT that really has nothing to show for it but nice golden parachutes for some financial sector executives, fat no bid contracts for Halliburton and KRB and tax breaks for 26% of American taxpayers.
