Regarding suggestions urging him to take the back road, keep in mind he's a 5'-8" 130lb Asian with kimchee breath. Biker/mountain men will take it up his back road that'll make Khyber Pass look tame by comparison; stick with the Eisenhower Highway System.

I-80 after Cheyenne looks pretty on Google Earth - I'ver never taken that route so that would be my choice.

I-40 after Amarillo (Cadillac Ranch) is nice - I've done that one - after Alberquerque, it's landscape straight out of Road Runner cartoon.

I-80 out of Cheyenne might look good on Google, but I can tell from experience that it is a long, baron and very boring route. There's a good reason that until recently there was no speed limit on that route. People were just trying to get through it as fast as possible!

Don't believe everything you think

except sundays since I stay home then to recover from the stress of dealing with stupid ass drivers every day........

The problem is yeah ok the traffic is up in volume but theses morons just have not yet figured out how the traffic light system works yet.....

(Hmmmm mormons?) yup must be cause they think they are so almighty high above everyone else in the world so they think.
You need to get out more, SLUT is tame by normal big city driving.

Route III, some nice spots but mostly long drive with big stretches of boring. Take a plane to ALBQ some day, rent a car and drive thru Santa Fe up to Taos and then over to the Grand Canyon and you see the same stuff without all the boring crap. I mean from Minn to Missouri, misc Midwest, Oklahoma, and the Texas Panhandle? I'd rather cut off my own balls. They don't call it "Fly-over America" for nothing. And to make it worse, people like fucking Jayhawk live there.

Go for Wyoming

Recall that earlier generations faced down fascism and communism not just with missiles and tanks, but with sturdy alliances and enduring convictions. They understood that our power alone cannot protect us, nor does it entitle us to do as we please. Instead, they knew that our power grows through its prudent use; our security emanates from the justness of our cause, the force of our example, the tempering qualities of humility and restraint.
