I am so sick of...
buying shit on E Bay. Every month my charges are annoying from stuff I have to buy in order to maintain the stupid 10 cars I have. Thank goodness I do not register many of the old ones, I cannot imagine the pain and $ that would entail. The possessions own me, not the other way around.
I am going to have to trim a few late models and buy more older ones that still might be rising in value and hope the generation that desires them is not just dying off. I would say over 80% of car collectors buy cars that piqued their interest when they were just learning to drive or thereabouts. So when the generation is gone it is POOF! Another instant dried up market segment.
Another qualm is the narrow mindedness of people. Go to a car club and it is either hot rods, Italian trash, muscle cars, or anything new a recent car rag says is super splendido terrific and you just must go and get it and never think of the debt. Ugh. You would think car guys could see through these narrow frames and enjoy something from all the segments. Nope. As if car enthusiasts are a large group anyway! Say you are into Cadillacs and they think you just don't know any better and can't drive. Say you are into muscle cars and they think you are living in the past with blue collar roots. Say you are into race cars and they automatically think you actually know how to drive competitively, which we all know is bullshit. Say you are into exotics and they know you have impeccable taste (aka money) and have never touched a wrench in your life. Blah, blah, blah.
