My thermometer actually read "Ouch". I walked a half mile and back to the "likker" store and almost collapsed. I'll never do that again as soon as I get back this time.

Booze Mountain-2nd attempt

On this second attempt I was prepared. I placed In & Out Burger napkins between my thigh and scrotum (both sides) and was ready to brave the cauldron.

Deemed by myself as the "Corridor of Hades" this brief little jaunt poses the biggest problem, an Irish Catholic is not welcome in this dreaded wasteland.

On my brutal yet essential journey I encountered a tribe of Red Caucasians, their flesh hideously scarred by the burning sun, I persevered as they sought respite in a nearby short bus.

Here's something you'll never see.... An empty bus seat without a canopy that can cook a lamb shank in 12 seconds.

101° now as the sun is going down. Just got back from a nice long walk with the pup, and it is absolute perfection.

Damn TK, just find a little shade, my man!
