That's the back yard in front of where the new four car garage/shop is going to be. No trees will be cut down [but I worry about the concrete truck wandering over the roots as they lay the pad].

This is not the first time the flag has been out. It flew at Joe Bologna's during the Final Four over the Big BIG screen.

What I find so interesting in the Kentucky results is that, on the Republican side, with McCain already having wrapped up the nomination, he only got 72% of the vote.

McCain , John __142,290_____ 72%
Huckabee , Mike __16,159_____ 8%
Paul , Ron __13,379 _____7%
Uncommitted __10,578 _____5%
Romney , Mitt __9,111 _____5%
Giuliani , Rudy __3,117 _____2%
Keyes , Alan __2,130 _____1%

It obviously helped the Jayhawks! Thanks!!

The concrete truck drivers can put down large plywood sheets to drive on and prevent damaging the tree roots. They do it around here all the time. Just ask the concrete company and I'll bet they will know what to do it.

It looks like Hillary may get nearly 70% to Obambi's 30% in KY.

Yep, the spreads were just about what everyone expected.

At one point yesterday we had two headlines in the On-line Herald Leader

Heavier than Expected Voter Turnout in Kentucky

Voter Turnout Not as High As Projected in Kentucky

Turns out it was about 30% I believe which is abysmal but a bit above normal. Everyone that I talked to just walked in and voted, no lines whatsoever. By the way, they get annoyed when you ask "Where's the guy handing out the half-pints at the door this year?".
