It's sad. If it wasn't for this, I would actually be voting for him, I contributed money to his past campaigns, and have always admired the man for being a true old-fashioned hero. Frankly, I think he would make a better president than Obama, but he's going to give us nothing but more war in Iraq, an illegal war, an atrocity that has stained the honor of the United States and turned us into Nazis in the eyes of the world. If that's what he wants, I can't support him. It will also cause him to lose, this country is so sick of this war the Republicans can't even win in Missisippi. In the debates, Obama will hang Iraq around McCain's neck like the stinking skunk that it is.
Recall that earlier generations faced down fascism and communism not just with missiles and tanks, but with sturdy alliances and enduring convictions. They understood that our power alone cannot protect us, nor does it entitle us to do as we please. Instead, they knew that our power grows through its prudent use; our security emanates from the justness of our cause, the force of our example, the tempering qualities of humility and restraint.
-President Barack Obama, 1st Inaugural address
