It is a problem associated with being the most powerful country at the current moment in history.

In the 19th Century it was England. Before that France or Spain. A few Centuries prior it was Rome.

In another 50-100 years folks will be saying the same thing about those "presumptuous assholes" in China and the US will be "the country that used to be..."

In Singapore there is a place called Far East Plaza about a 500 meter walk from the Hilton where we stay every time we go over. On the ground floor outside the entrance to this shopping plaza they have lined up next to each other is Subway, Burger King, KFC and a 7-11. Those 4 places are cash cows with the Singaporeans from morning to night. Most stay open to midnight on the weekends and the 7-11 is of course 24 hr.

Are they all run by Indians like here in the States? If not, they are not authentic.

The 7-11's I assume and if so, yes they are authentic, I have gone in probably 6 or 7 different 7-11's around Singapore over time and the 2 or 3 most recently, yes they all had Singaporean Indians behind the counter.

There is no need to throw in the towel, that is what planning and manipulation is around for. If anyone wants to bad mouth the USA that is fine, it is their right to do so. It is also my right to stick a 38 down their throat.

Didn't you forget to mention tsunami relief, aid to earthquake stricken areas, military protection of our weaker allies (Korea, Japan, Israel), pursuit of international terrorists.
