Why did the new owners here dump The Tire Rack?

They have been one of the best things about this forum! In fact, I would not be here today if it were not for Luke and The Tire Rack. I don't understand it and would like to know why you decided to dump them. They will be missed and I'm sure I will not be the only one here to miss them.

Dunno what the fuss is about. I asked a very simple question of those "experts" on their forum, and it never got a response. I noticed the same of others. They may have had good intentions, but I've found them to be completely overhyped and overpriced in my dealings with them.

I had the same experience with the questions QBNCGAR. I never bought anything so I cannot comment on that. However, I suppose we should be somewhat grateful that they paid money to keep this free for all of us.

I wouldn't pay to be on this site. I think that the site should pay some of the regular posters here "not including" myself that keep this place interesting for everyone.

I have spent a lot of time and money on The Tire Rack site and forum here, and have NEVER had a problem. In fact, that is one of the few things around here that has always worked for me!

Until Luke's farewell, I didn't know this forum had been sold. Was that in the announcements? If not, would someone please provice some details?

He began to tread on thin ice when the revenue didn't offset the cost and they began to tire of his bald face lies. He couldn't get in the groove and just kept spinning his wheels. It's time they rotated the dealers anyway.

You just like to rubber the wrong way, don't you?
