You can cut open a D-Cell battery, dump out the black powder (Manganese Dioxide) and throw it in Hydrogen Peroxide creating Water + Oxygen. The Manganese Dioxide is a catalyst. If you capture the oxygen by water displacement, you can heat a piece of steel wool until it's glowing red, thrust it in the mouth of the bottle full of oxygen and watch it explode into flames. Cool elementary experiment.

There's GOT TO BE some strides made in finding a cure. Cutting people up and contaminating their blood with radiation is just not appealing anymore. not that it ever was.

Let me ask another couple of questions of you guys who think that modern medicine has your concerns at heart:
When was the last time a disease was cured and what disease was it? What were the consequences of the cure?

Polio. And it decimated the March of Dimes charity organization. Lesson learned. There's too much money in the treatment to find a cure. What they're looking for is a longer lasting treatment so they can milk even more money out of you. Just like AIDS. Keep them coming back for the treatment.
