There you go calling people racist that don't agree with Obama and will not vote for him.
You fail to make the distinction that not voting for Obama because you disagree with his policies has not been called "racist" and only those fabricated issues, like lapel pins or not, that are used as a front for judging Obama without bothering to investigate his policies, are viewed in my posts as "racist." There is a distinction.
Also not sure why you would put liberal in quotes refering to Obama. He very clearly is a liberal - just like Hilary. How is the gov't taking over the health care industry, increasing taxes, increasing the size and scope of the federal gov't not liberal?
Liberal is quotes is used when I refer the use of the word in a context similar to leprosy. Liberal is used by certain people to describe things they don't like. Has nothing to do with what liberal might actual mean.
I won't vote for the man and it has nothing to do with his color - there are plenty of other reasons to not want the man as president of this country.
That is not an issue. This is America and if you dislike his policies and vision for America, by all means, support someone else.
I am also not sure why you can't understand why people would have an issue with him not wearing a lapel pin or the other issues raised. To many people these incidences speak towards Obama's stances and character. Are these incidents enough of a reason not to vote for him? No, but they are part of the pile of evidence that has accumulated that can sway a vote.
Lapel pins are optional clothing accessories. I am not gong to pick my President based on his clothing and accessories selections. To make any more of it is to lend credence to bullshit. What are the other incidents? His middle name? Hey, my father once asked me:
"What's the white stuff in chicken shit?"
Thinking there was something to this question I pondered it for a moment and concluded I really didn't know what the white stuff in chicken shit was. So I said: "I don't know" To which he replied: "It's shit too."
This line of thought is chicken shit. Some is dark, some is white. But it is all chicken shit. Build a case on something of substance. Policy, agenda, vision. Not articles of clothing in a realm without a dress code.
Of course from your posts you don't seem to want to hear that. You only want to hear that Obama is black and someone white said they won't for him, it must be because he is black.
No, I believe that white people are just as susceptible to lying and bullshitting as black people. And, in this case, when someone doesn't cite a policy they disagree with as their reason for not supporting Obama, and base it on lapel pins, it screams chicken shit! Or bullshit, or "a black guy in the White House? Who are you shitting?" And that is what I hear. Sorry if you find the call disagrees with your comfort with the lapel pin reasoning.
