STOLEN SL55 AMG in New Jersey/NYC

Hello guys. First off, no this is not spam/scam, though it is probably an unusual post. I am an investigator working for MBF (Daimler Financial) and I'm trying to locate a stolen white 2003 SL55AMG that I believe is being kept in a warehouse or parking garage in NYC.

The "gentleman" driving the unit is a man named Brian from the Jersey City or NYC area, early 30's, and is completely obsessed with the car. He has basically stolen the unit from his mother and refuses to surrender it. If you've talked to him you'd remember, this car is his life. We are told he only drives it a couple times a month, sometimes to Atlantic City casinos. Brian supposedly works at or owns Uncle Luigi's Ice Cream in NY, has modified the unit extensively and put money into it. Believe the unit is being garaged in Queens and Brian lives in Howard Beach.

Any information is greatly appreciated. I will update this thread as we obtain more information. If you have serious information PM me for a contact. Remember guys, the less we take in losses the better deals we can offer our paying customers.

I want to met this Brian guy, if he's able to hide yet operate a car in such a way that a financial institution's efforts to locate him are reduced to posting on internet forums.

Good luck. With that much information you are sure to get some really hot leads. Especially from this crowd. And the bit about "better deals" translates into "an unrealized promise of a less desperately attempted horsefucking" by MBF of its paying customers from the perspective of a one time paying customer.

Why not actually go find your car instead of soliciting unpaid assistance from an internet forum that specializes in unsympathetic responses to bullshit like this request? Go hang out at Luigi's in NYC, or better yet, Atlantic City, or somewhere in between while you stake out garages in Queens?

Jim

Thanks Jim, as you probably realize this is just one of many leads we are researching. In reality I don't expect anyone here to have substantial information, but I have a good idea that Brian is a member on some MB Enthusiast websites, including this one.

Brian, this will go legal in a matter of days, why not just avoid all that and turn it in?

Hardly a feat if the effort expended so far to get any meaningful data and find the car is summed up by the original post. Sounds like a plea to have people steal the cars in some kind of insurance scam. Jim

........It was a cold, dark night in Brick City. The fog was thicker than the Neapolitan Spumoni at Uncle Luigi's. I was on the trail of an SL55, a cute little coupe that was slicker than snot on a Bronx doorknob in December........

Are you offended by my post? The intent is not to ruffle any feathers of members on this forum, only to convince Brian that hiding this unit is more trouble than its worth. On that note, if the moderators here feel this goes against forum policy there is certainlly no harm in removing this post.

Anyone who does happen to have substantial info is welcome to contact me on my work line. PM me for info.

Nah, this thread has potential . . . I'm betting that you're about to get many, many leads.
