FL issue is still barely open, the MI issue is dead.

...and because of a questionable ruling, hundreds of thousands of registered American voters are denied their opportunity to participate in the selection of their candidate for President of the United States.

What is questionable? The rules that ALL 50 STATES and ALL CANDIDATES SIGNED said that primaries had to be run AFTER DateX [except Iowa and NH]. Florida and Michigan State Democrat Parties decided to schedule theirs BEFORE DateX. They were asked to change it repeatedly, told that they would not be seated if they persisted yet they continued.

Candidates signed NOT to have their names on the ballots or campaign in states that broke the rules. Guess who did not follow that rule either.

I realize all of that. It does not make the rule right. A leadership power struggle should not be the reason to eliminate registered voting Americans from participating in the process.

It does not change the fact that 2 states full of people who were willing to vote demonstrated their desire to voice their selection. This isn't someone who didn't mail their driver's license renewal in time. It is a significant portion of the country's population.

Ummm, these are private organizations, we're discussing here. If said organization is dysfunctional and can't get its shit together, that ain't a national crisis. Government shouldn't be involved in this process at all...period, end of story. The various state guvs should simply pony up for a big ol' general election shindig with all the parties' candidates on a ballot, and that's about it. Sounds to me like the Dems ain't worthy of your support, so move on to the next private organization's candidate.

It has become part of the process whether it's part of a private organization or not. It's not really my battle. I just don't care for it.

I don't like it either

I reject that process, as unnecessary and a complete waste of taxpayer's dollars.
