Me either. It's good to see threads that can spawn nonsensical responses in the spirit of the OT, obligatory flaming, and also useful technical info all at once. There's been so few of them lately.

I have Yamaha YSP sound projector - no extra speaker cables to trip over or tangle, no need to create holes in the walls to route the cable and no speakers to knock over. Judging from the pics, you can certainly wall mount the projector under the TV.

BTW, I hope the 50" plasma is mounted on studs (hehe).

Goodbye DSL -- Hello Cable

I think ya'll should be quite proud of me for dodging the bullet...I just went with cable internet and passed on all that addictive mind-numbing TV stuff. My ten year run of blissful ignorance remains perfectly intact.

I been trying to decide on a sound system for my setup... I want to use it for a total entertainment system like you know play tunes when not looking at the screen (I'm not a big TV watcher) it must have Ipod docking or interfaces that I can hook one of the computers up to....

Been Looking at Bose and Yamaha so far and really pissed off a store manager when I put my Ipod into a dock on a Yamaha system and cranked a Kid Rock tune......Heh I only play a tune from the 2001 CD Cocky (WCSR) Hmmmm I just can't figure it out what got this old guy's goat..

Oh yeah BTW nice install job on the screen, did you mount it flat? I mounted mine with a wall flange that you can pull the unit out from the wall tilt it up or down and side to side.

If you liked the eye patch, then you'll even love her better in her moldy casket, with about 5 years of decomp on her. Funny how nature has a way of straightening up crooked smiles.

Cool. But does he then need a 50' room in order for the reflections to match up ? How well does it work compared to Dolby Surround.
