^Reliability wise you are much better off with the SEC AMG or 500E. The basics on the 850 are rock solid, but since there are two of many things on the 850, like batteries, mass air flows (notorious), throttle bodies, etc., you really get annoyed when that stuff goes bad from just sitting. Eats batteries regardless of kept charge a little over once a year, yes both of them at a time.
I keep forgetting your SEC is an AMG as that makes a big difference. Post a pic if you have one handy of that beauty, it has been awhile since I've seen one. A lawyer friend of the family had a new 500 SEL AMG when I was growing up. I thought that car was amazing, but his was a little too monochromatic for my tastes. The wheels (five star ronals) and grill were black as was all the trim. He traded it when he had a flat and the jack and stuff wouldn't work on the AMG ground effects and wheels. Eh. He traded so often back then it was silly.
