And how are we, the "working class", supposed to come to your house to clean it, do gardening, maintain the pool and help your wife through her issues?

I stopped complaining about the price of gas when it surpassed $3.60 a gallon. Today it was $3.99 a gallon at a shell in Elk Grove, Ca. It cost $3.80 for my dailey starbucks, and that only amounts to about 16oz. I like my car, and a prius is just to small. So it off for another $55 fill up.

Mercedes Benz, enough said.

I was in a taxi in Singapore today and rode by a Shell Station, they are paying SGD 2.053 per liter for Shell 98 Octane and with the calculations done that means they are paying about USD 5.80 a gallon. Shit.............

Hi Guys
Try like £1.16 / £ 1.18 per LITRE for diesel
Again petrol is cheaper
so a 96 litre tank as on the 461 "G" wagen costs £105.00 odd assuming 6 litre left in the tank
Like $205.00
In my case along with 4 new tyres which will be needed very soon
Should double the market value of my old girl

yeah, but your country is like the size of a postage stamp, hell I bet the whole thing would fit into the Houston metro area. I mean, how many miles do you drive a week?

Recall that earlier generations faced down fascism and communism not just with missiles and tanks, but with sturdy alliances and enduring convictions. They understood that our power alone cannot protect us, nor does it entitle us to do as we please. Instead, they knew that our power grows through its prudent use; our security emanates from the justness of our cause, the force of our example, the tempering qualities of humility and restraint.

How much of that cost is for taxes as opposed to cost of fuel? You at least get services out of a good part of your gas costs.

I was talking to the tile/flooring guy today. He makes about $18 per hour for his work. That comes out to $36K per year. His 1998 GMC Pickup has 150K miles on it and just cost him $85 to fill up and that will last him under a week. That is right at 250% what it was in 2001 when Bush took office. His wages have gone up from $14-18.
