Photoshop makeovers...

YouTube - The Perfect Lie (Photoshop Transformation) youssefsarhan.com

Somebody posted a few links on my other forum, and after spending some time watching these videos, I wanted to know what men think about these things. Obviously, the images printed in magazines and posted on the internet have been photoshopped and worked over. They can make these celebs look nearly perfect. I think that it is pretty awful that our standards are based on women that don't even really exist.
How do you guys feel about this?

Doesn't surprise me. Film(and photoshop) has a way of making people better looking than they are in person. A friend of mine is a b actor in LA and I have met a few "personalities" and was surprised at how different they look in person and with make up et al.

My Car WOO HOO...... Now SOLD
New car.... 2001 Jaguar XJR!!!!

I take a natural anytime over photo chopped, plasticised,
botoxed, lifted artificials. The "makeover" in that video converted
a pretty face into a doll.

We started with a picture and ended with a picture and that raises a question: which one is more real? Maybe they played the film backwards. As long as we're only dealing with photos, I'd rather gaze upon the more pleasant one. I'm all for women, especially, making themselves as beautiful as possible because at my age I've seen them drunk, dirty, angry and in child-birth, most of which is not too pretty.

I'm with mlfun, no make up. If they have to spend hours in front of the mirror to get ready then there is something wrong.

Women have been doing this for decades. Wigs, hair extensions, hair die, hair tint, "highlights", eye liners, false eye lashes, colored contacts, padded bras, 30 different makeups, glosses, lip sticks, teeth caps, rhinoplasty, cheek implants, breast augmentation, and the list goes on and on and on.

This is just another manifestation of the game.
