Well, those are stock photos so it is possible you are buying a spec car that has not arrived yet. Or they might have shipped a bit early [it is only 3 weeks til April.
The car should simply be called Hammer2. I have driven the 350 version and the size, feel and general set of the car is much like that of the original Hammer or the 500Es of the early 90s. The C63 is going to be a perfect balance.
I did a side by side compare of one of my 500Es with the C350 and the measurements are within .25 inches on nearly every, and I mean every spec. The balance is perfect. Once it gets that much extra juice is will be perfect.
Yea Im excited about that thing. But seems strange to me that they put it up already I think I will just wait for my local dealer to get it. 55K is a bit much to play around with like that.

CLS is pathetic, a trend car that time has already passed. New CL is a flop. New C has the hardest looking dash plastic I have seen in a mercedes in two decades. Still I will have to take one for a spin before possibly buying the '09 CTS V. I am sure the mercedes will still be more refined than the cadillac, as GM is still cheap as hell in the refinement dept. Still a Lexus LS is just soo hard to defeat...

I love the new CTS-V (well at least looking at it in person at the car show and what the mags have had to say) !!
I also love the looks of the STS-V. Id take either car, the CTS with the HO V6 or the STS with the Northstar.

I didn't realize the C-Class had grown that large. Now can you completely defeat the traction/stability control on the new Benz's? That really has put me off on these cars as of late is the inability to turn it off.

I agree the inside materials are still not where I would like them [same issue with my S500]. But with the EU recycling laws, I am not sure we will ever end up with much better. AUDI is the only one that seems to put together a good looking Euro interior.
As for the CLS, I just found out a bit back that it is based on the E Class chassis. That little S at the end tended to suggest otherwise.
