Worried about reckless spending? You haven't seen anything yet. Next year's Dem budget is already billions in new spending and over what Bush proposed which they claimed was way too low on the war costs.
Leverage over where I keep my brokerage accounts, my MMA, and 25 years of other business.
Actually, I have already seen way too much reckless spending [much of it with no bid contracting]. It has been in the form of charge and spend taxes by Bushie running up the National Debt by nearly $5Trillion [more than $5Trillion once the Financial Sector gets bailed out].
And you have not seen ANY new spending that addresses numbers that high because none have been published or discussed with any kind of hard numbers. If so, please provide links.
Primary new spending numbers are going to come from War Costs, Interest on the National Debt, beginning of Boomers hitting Medicare/SS and at some point infrastructure [FAA's ATC system, Bridges and Roads, Port Security, and of course those Border issues that keep getting put off].
We are also going to have to, for the short term address Recession generated increases in benefits programs [from food stamps to unemployment] that will start piling up.
So the lack of enforcement of Regulations within the Financial Sector has added enough reckless spending to take care of bumping the budget for the next few years no matter who wins.
Frankly, I am beginning to think that McCain needs to win this election if for no other reason than to be responsible for cleaning the shit out of the nest where Bushie dumped.
