My fisrt car...

A 1967 Brown Porsche 912, used of course. I was working part time in a repair shop during high school and I convinced my father to buy this for me. It had been rear ended and the owner abandoned it at the shop. The owner despised Porsche's so he sold it to my father for $3000. Took about $2000 to get it running a year later, but it was worth it. I keep the car at my grandma's place and drive it about once a month. Has about 131,000 miles on the original 4 cyl engine. Some day I will have to get a bigger garage to bring it home.

Mercedes Benz, enough said.

Porsche 356 S90, followed by an SC. I managed to total both within 6 month.
The S90 I crashed into an elevated rail embankment, and found myself in the grass on the other side of the embankment. My shirt had some green spots.
To anyone who is familiar with the old 356 and its narrow sun roof, how I managed to fly out of that sun roof is still a complete mystery.
The SC must have been some kind of record; it lasted all of three hours.
I picked up the car, drove it home, and crashed under the front one of those over sized (wide) trucks, just outside my home town. I was lucky my car caught the front wheel of the truck, and not between both front t tires.
When I came to, the trucks bumper was inside the car, and not too far from my head. I walked with a limp for about a year.
There were a few more. Were I a cat, I would have used up my lives already.

The S90 was this color, but with sun roof

'67 Beaumont, sold it to a buddy so I could buy a '67 Mini Austin. Gave the Mini to my brother and he drove it so hard the doors literally fell off.

Wish I had the Beaumont again.

A dark blue with red interior 1962 220 SEb, manual (4 on the column).

Beautiful car which met an untimely end with a big old river gum tree...

Second year in college, 3 of us went in on a $150 1950 Ford. It looked like it had been painted yellow with a broom! On the back window was just the word "College", oh yeah it had an exhaust dump!

Not actual photo
