+1 with Jayhawk here. Too bad good cigars have gotten so expensive. Most of the ones I smoked were when I worked at a tobacco shop in college. We were allowed, if we smoked them on the job, to credit them off. Believe me, I smoked my share of Macanudos and Partagas at the time. Too bad we were not allowed to drink on the job too.

Don't know what you consider "expensive", but there are plenty of very good sub $6 cigars to be found. Lots of very good sub $5 cigars actually.

Hey Cubano, do you smoke after sex?

The biggest problems we are facing right now have to do with George Bush trying to bring more and more power into the executive branch and not go through Congress at all and that’s what I intend to reverse.

Started as a teenage, quit in my early thirties when I got a front row seat watching my grandfather die of lung cancer. He was a noted historian, a man sought out for his opinions by academics throughout the nation, an expert on Civil War antiques, and his loss was a total, absolute waste. I decided I did not want to have my life chopped off twenty years short as well. His death was not in vain, however, you go to one of our family picnics and no one smokes, they all quit at the same time for the same reason I did - what a stupid way to die, for a mouth full of smoke.

Recall that earlier generations faced down fascism and communism not just with missiles and tanks, but with sturdy alliances and enduring convictions. They understood that our power alone cannot protect us, nor does it entitle us to do as we please. Instead, they knew that our power grows through its prudent use; our security emanates from the justness of our cause, the force of our example, the tempering qualities of humility and restraint.

-President Barack Obama, 1st Inaugural address
