Guy backed into my door...
in the middle of a strip center parking lot. The odds of him backing at that point would have to be about a million to one. But it did happen and he has admitted fault... so far. He had a nice nose ring, four ear rings, super white bleach bolnde hair, and a '92 Honda Accord with the clear coat peeling. To my suprise he was a nice guy and quite intelligent sounding. He has a shit local insurance company and we will see where that leads as all that I could do so far is set up the claim. I took pictures of him and the scene with my i phone for some useless proof. The poor '98 Cadillac STS with 90k miles on it had never had any repaint. Now the driver's door is caved in and the rear door is not PDRable. He thought the old black Caddy was new of course.
As if the '98 STS is valueless enough on its own, you add two repainted body panels and the car just became so worthless that you will have to pay someone to take it off your hands. I will just fix it and keep it as a mega beater now. Ah the typical life of a car, from showroom floor, to Al's Pick U Part, to the Crusher.
