Building New System

Ok ok I know this has absolutly nothing to do with Benzs or even anything remotely related to em.... However I know that the BWOT folks are a very Diverse bunch (and highly opinonated for the better or worst) and that is what makes me post such things here.... Ok with that BS out of the way....

I decided to build an new computer system now mind it I'm not new to doing this I only once purchased a "built system".

What I am trying to find out is has anybody have or has used the BENQ monitors? I have been looking at the FP241VW by BENQ and it seems to meet most of everything I would like to have on my new system except it is smaller than I want (only 24 inch).

Here are the specs...24.0" Wide LCD with Senseye® Technology
1920 x 1200 (WUXGA) Max Resolution
6 Different Video Source Types
Tilt Features
6ms GTG Response Time
Contrast: 1000:1
Brightness: 500 cd/m2
Dot pitch: 0.27
Display colors: 16.7 million
i key Auto Adjustment

I plan to put this with twin dual core processors @ 2.8 gigaherzt on a Gigabyte mainboard with an Intel X48 chip set, Dual Xeon processors along with a Liquid cooling system and a pile of other junk or goodys depending on how ya view it.

Why? Shit likes this is what just oh no you don't want me to say it.

Anyone got a opinion on it? I would like ot hear/read em before I do this one (reguardless I'm more than likely gonna do it anyways).... I been building computers since I was in 9th grade and currently have way too many here now that I need to find new homes for..

My friend, you seem to be residing under the grave misapprehension that we are all sitting in an icafe or at home dreaming of the wrong type of hardware!

Oh no you just didn't!

This thread is going over 100 posts within 24 hours. As a matter of fact, I'll take the 10 P.M. to 11 P.M. (Eastern) hour in the BWOT pool (no whoring/post padding allowed).

I'm in.

Yeah, we already know I'm cheap so deal with it.

Oh shit I didn't mean it tha way.....I just meant one way or another I'm going to have to build a new system because my current one just simply does not have the resources and thoses damn Jacks & Cokes just really made my writting a tad sloppy I guess ( yeah I went back and read the post it was sorta shitty).

And I'm not a Computer Gamer use to do that (online games) but they were such a waste of time... Just wondering if anybody has used the BENQ monitors I have only seen them and they do seems to have a very impressive display

Just buy a Macintosh I have been using them for almost 20 years, and you would be surprised.

I wasn't going to say it. I was going to keep quiet, but I'll be damned if you didn't do what I've tried so hard not to say.
You must understand that there will always be a market for those who wish to buy mediocrity.

Oh, BTW, I'm setting up a 24" iMac Intel next week for a Graphic designer. I'll let you know how it goes.

Please do let me know since I am still in the planing stage and what was good to great when I built my current system now is like so yesterday and The new Windows kinda chokes on it even thought I am running 2 gig of ram.

The 22 inch ViewSonic Flat Screen Lcd is nice however the 24s prices are right down there now also.. To keep this monitor for the new system is out because it will stay on this current system while I move the old IBM Netfinity Server out along with the 21 inch HP CRT (that thing weigths a freaking ton)
