We finally got it up here...weird stuff, it's 29 and raining. The rain turns to ice the minute it hits the windshield. Got a couple inches of snow, then some ice, and everyone's slipping around like they're jello wrestling at some bar.

Driving the G vagen-ator today. Even with summer tires the thing is amazing.

So for 4 days we get ice/slush and the sliding that goes with it. Those of us who have lived elsewhere just go on. Those who have not, hide.

During the ice storm of 2002 where power was out for 6-14 days, I simply rewired my furnace, brought out the generator and had all the necessities, Heat, frig, lights, Cable TV and Internet. [and a bigassed chain on my generator]. Since I had sense to have a gas generator I simply drove the truck to an area that had power - filled up, took extra tanks and had plenty of gas for the generator.

We were just commenting on that tonight. We should go to Kroger's parking lot and watch all the Mom-mobiles running in and loading up on bread and milk. But alas, I have spreadsheets to work on this evening so the entertainment is not so fun.

I did just finish one formula that actually took multiple cells to complete as I ran out of character space in independent cells. 1523 character formula. I think that is my record.

This one is actually scaring me. It worked first time through. The spreadsheet is running nearly 45,000 rows of data, 150 columns wide.

Oh, and Lisa says hi.

Were you aware a very large building really REALLY close to the store just lifted up and blew down the other night out at Hamburg?
